PDF and the Web

I read this article on the BBC today and wondered if the browser embedded PDF display apps will crash any less than they currently do. Personally, I prefer to download the PDF to my desktop and have it opened by an application, rather than a browser plugin for that reason. We'll see what the updates bring. As for SDF. Too little - too late.
